Indian glass lamps available in jewel colours and pearly aqua options.
Rich Sumptuous jewel Colours teamed with metalic silver or gold are perfect but the two main colours we recommend are Saffron and Chilli.

/Recently if you have seen the sudden popularity of Basement Jaxx and their video which was ingeniously edited from vintage Bollywood film footage you might have been delighted with the romance the costumes and the dancing, you will have heard the hype about Bollywood opening up to a wider audience and increased popularity and its no wonder, Bollywood are well versed in the production of Romance and glamour.

Colour scheme suggestions for your home!
There are lots of rich Sumptuous jewel Colours which would work really well such as a hot pink teamed with oranges, deep blues and greens teamed with metalic silver or gold could also be perfect. Accessories are really the key.
You can,t go wrong with the two colours we,ve chosen below Saffron and Chilli red.
You could highlight walls in your room by painting them for example deep chilli and then accentuate the colour by painting the wall next to it Saffron.
To achieve space in your room you could create a contempory feel by painting varying widths of strips which run right round the room. You should keep the strips below half the level of the room. This idea is best used where furniture partially hides these stripes from time to time so that they don,t become too dominent. Don,t be afraid to use a bold colour for the contrasting strip. You could use a deeper shade of the one colour and masking tape will give you the perfect straight edge, could,nt be easier.

Framed posters of indian actresses capture the imagination.
Why not jazz up an old frames with glass beads and pearls from old necklaces or any old junk jewels that you don,t mind breaking up for use as embellishment.A glue gun is a must for this type of work because it drys in seconds,if you are working with very small pieces or plastic that you don,t want to melt you could try PVA glue which takes longer to dry.

Create the essential Eastern ambience.
Incense is a must and some of the most unusual long burning cones are excellent and they can be bought in larger sizes for outdoor patio use.Lots of richly coloured throws and cushions in raw silks or even printed cottons will add to the authentic look.
Visit you local indian supermarket for creative ideas from packaging, like rosewater or incense packages they usually have really vivid and inspiration colour schemes to help you expand the creativity in your Bollywood makeover.
